So, as soon as we arrived back from Los Caracoles, I had to check if a suite was available later in the week, because we’d been so enchanted by out stay here. And, we were in luck! £53 via Booking.com for a suite – living room, double bedroom, large bathroom with corner bathroom and private terrace. Booked on the spot 🙂
The journey up into the hills was quite different to the previous one. It was drizzly and fog was clinging to the tops of the peaks and the higher we climbed the temperature did drop a little – but it was very atmospheric. And even more so when we arrived, as within minutes we were enveloped in thick, thick fog…
The suite was everything we had hoped for – totally self contained, with gorgeous attention to quirky detail. As well as cast-iron radiators, there was a wood burning stove & a huge corner bath. It was just beautiful!
Food was also as good as it was on the previous stay – if you’re only staying a night or two, we’d more than recommend eating in the restaurant, which is as cosy as the rooms and suites with log burners and amazing views out over Frigiliana and down to Nerja and the sea. Twinkling lights laid out in front of you.
